My name is Nahida Kassim, and I work with VOCAL Africa as a Rapid Response Officer based in Mombasa. My work focuses on responding to human rights violations, killings, and advocating for women’s rights and justice within communities. Through rapid response, community engagement, and advocacy, I support victims and affected families while pushing for accountability and protection of human rights. Recently, I have been involved in following up on cases related to femicide and violence against women. I am passionate about creating safer communities, amplifying vulnerable voices, and contributing to justice, protection, and meaningful social change for all across Kenya.
